When my iOS calendar & to-do lists crashed on me for the last time too many, I started testing out various calendar apps. Some I would like, only to discover that they, too, would crash, destroy all my input data & pretty much drive me crazy.
With Today, not only have I never lost my data, but I have found a unique interface for looking at my time. Yes, there is a regular calendar & to-do view, as well as an ability to access all of your iOS lists from within the app.
The neatest function to me, however, is the ability to view your day as a 24hour circle. Appointments, color coded based on your own defined system, appear around the middle at the time which they will occur. "Goals," which are unique gems to this app appear on the outside edge via an icon at the time youve set to remind you whether youve done the goal for the day. Same thing with anniversaries.
It may sound like the app would be cluttered, but its not. The design of the interface really looks that good & its use is straightforward.
