This Is It!

Ive tried so many calendar and todo apps since the App Store launched. But nothing has managed to keep a hold on my dock or my phone for very long. Today, however, has made itself at home. At first, I was skeptical about the sundial approach to the day view. In practice, Ive grown to like it, particularly on my lock screen. Visually it is a refreshing break from the typical day display. But what sets Today apart from other calendar apps is the easy, convenient, and pleasing way of adding reminders and the basic goal tracking. Its a smooth, well designed set of features that encourages me to use Today every day. While Today wont replaced dedicated todo apps, it does a good job of offloading daily errands and reminders. Furthermore, the integration of goals with a calendar app means that I get a subtle nudge every time I check my schedule.
