TODAY (Calendar, Task, To-do, Reminder, Goal, Anniversary) App Reviews

This app is a good idea and has pretty UI. I was hoping this good looking app could replace the outdated Daily Deeds. However the goal function is extremely fragile with two years of accumulated data and iCloud turned on. Super slow tapping response. Goal entries disappear without notice. The app itself crashes. The count numbers randomly set themselves into smaller ones. A goal entry record appears to be a data file of size 5-100 kb in iCloud Drive, which might hint a low efficiency implementation of data structure in the goal function. I rated low because of the frustration from six, seven times of inputting and losing my data. Hopefully this would be fixed soon. At least support is responsive.

The individual events have the correct time but when viewed visually or in list mode, the times are all super off. The 9 AM events are marked as 3 AM for some reason??

Try to reach them and you will hit a wall. Be prepared for this app to die soon like aNote died (not updated anymore), so they will make more money on a new app. Sad and not a healthy business model. Great design.

All my data that I enter just disappear after 2 days! Seriously? And I pay 3 $ for that? They should fix all this cuz why you even take money for that if its not working?!

Calendar and Reminders perfectly in one app!!!

When my iOS calendar & to-do lists crashed on me for the last time too many, I started testing out various calendar apps. Some I would like, only to discover that they, too, would crash, destroy all my input data & pretty much drive me crazy. With Today, not only have I never lost my data, but I have found a unique interface for looking at my time. Yes, there is a regular calendar & to-do view, as well as an ability to access all of your iOS lists from within the app. The neatest function to me, however, is the ability to view your day as a 24hour circle. Appointments, color coded based on your own defined system, appear around the middle at the time which they will occur. "Goals," which are unique gems to this app appear on the outside edge via an icon at the time youve set to remind you whether youve done the goal for the day. Same thing with anniversaries. It may sound like the app would be cluttered, but its not. The design of the interface really looks that good & its use is straightforward.

Ive tried so many calendar and todo apps since the App Store launched. But nothing has managed to keep a hold on my dock or my phone for very long. Today, however, has made itself at home. At first, I was skeptical about the sundial approach to the day view. In practice, Ive grown to like it, particularly on my lock screen. Visually it is a refreshing break from the typical day display. But what sets Today apart from other calendar apps is the easy, convenient, and pleasing way of adding reminders and the basic goal tracking. Its a smooth, well designed set of features that encourages me to use Today every day. While Today wont replaced dedicated todo apps, it does a good job of offloading daily errands and reminders. Furthermore, the integration of goals with a calendar app means that I get a subtle nudge every time I check my schedule.

I have used so many different task apps over the years and this one is exactly what Im looking for! My favorite feature is the Scheduled view for reminders. It puts my tasks in chronological order with my calendar items so I can see exactly when I wanted to complete a task relative to everything else I have going on. The view also keeps past due tasks at the top of the list until I am able to complete them so I dont forget about them. I have spent quite a bit of time sending requests to other apps asking for exactly these features. Im so glad this app has everything I need!

I do like interface, colors and others except only 1 thing. One of the reasons I bought this app is that it supports Lunar calendars for anniversaries but I cant know how to set this in the app. Therefore I email to them twice but there is no response from them...... Except this its the excellent app to me.

Looks promising, looks good, but its insane. Registers calendar events fine. However...Reminders end up all over the place. An "all day" Reminder on Tuesday ended up on Monday at 10:59. Another Tuesday repeating Reminder was marked completed & ended up on Wednesday. Four reminders show up in the badge total count but are nowhere in the app. The today widget shows three reminders in the clock, with a badge count of four down in the corner...which isnt anywhere close to what is actually happening. Insanity reigns supreme with this app. Totally buggered up my reminders for me. REFUND!!

A lot of the reviews mention bugs - Ive yet to see one. But Ive only used it for 1 day. It is a really pretty agenda format. I had to play with it for a bit to figure it out, but its not too complicated. So far, the best agenda app Ive found, and Ive downloaded LOTS. I do wish there were more themes/colors to chooses from. But its pretty cool :-).

I dont get the negative reviews. For $2 just try it! I was afraid to after the bad reviews but its visual (I need that) and is very user friendly and is well designed. Cant wait to see how it continues to develop.

The developers have great ideas in this app, but many simple tasks fall short. Cant set custom duration on task. Ui has a lot of opportunity to reduce number of taps. Many more. Hope to see them press forward, because this could be a very, very great application.

Beautiful calendar app with a ton of potential once they get notifications to work. 1 star until this VERY important feature is resolved.

I actually like this app but the only problem is that developer seldom update this app... I dont know why the developer threw this app away from his attention but I hope he keep manage this app so many people can keep using this app.
